Victoria Star (Bavaria 38ft) has 3 double cabins and a saloon. It is fully equipped with a colour chart plotter with AIS on the helm, and GPS. Berthed in Gosport Marina, pontoon C, opposite the barge. Ask for an entry fob at the marina office (this will also give you access to the showers/bathrooms). TRAVEL
By Train
Portsmouth Harbour is the nearest train station. South West trains operate a service from London Waterloo; the fast trains (1hr 40mins) run every 30mins and cost about £40 for a return. A ferry service from Portsmouth Harbour to Gosport operates every 15mins and costs about £3 for a return (hold onto the ticket, as you will need it for the return journey).

Gosport Marina is a 5min walk from the Gosport Ferry Terminal.

There is parking in Gosport Marina; one free parking space is provided by the charter company, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Discounted parking is provided for additional cars, and there is also free parking nearby.

ITINERARY
Friday
19:30 – meet on the boat; drop off the bags and briefly familiarise ourselves with the boat
20:30 – dinner at the local pub

Saturday
07:30 – breakfast, safety brief & prepare the boat
09:00 – depart for tbc
17:00 – arrive in tbc
19:00 – pub dinner in tbc

Sunday
08:00 – breakfast & prepare the boat
08:30 – depart for Gosport
15:00 – arrive in Gosport Marina, clean the boat
16:00 – finish COST
All-inclusive cost (boat charter, food on board, fuel, mooring fees) is £172 per person.

To confirm a space, you will need to make the payment in full. Once payment is received, I will confirm by email. The payment is non-refundable, however if for any reason you can no longer make the trip, please let me know well in advance so we can try to sell the space to someone else. If the trip is cancelled, you will be refunded in full.

I will do a big food shop ahead of the trip, which will provide us with breakfast and lunch for the weekend, however feel free to bring additional items like alcohol or snacks that you can’t live without. Please inform me of any dietary requirements in advance.
