Twilight Sail

Fancy sailing in the evening after work ? This is the follow-up to an idea I posted a while back. Join me at the Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre which runs a weekly wednesday evening based on the Australian idea of boats, beer and barbie (BBQ to those of us who speak Queens English) ;-)
No experience required but if you don't have a RYA 2 then suggest you call to book a place beforehand as you will need to get onto a skippered boat.

Cost
The cost is £20 for sailing and BBQ (including 1 beer!). I'm intending to call and book a place for myself. If you fancy coming along, suggest you do the same:

Telephone
020 7537 2626

Address
235a Westferry Road, Isle of Dogs, E14 3QS

Nearest tube stops - Crossharbour (DLR) or Mudchute (DLR)

website: http://www.dswc.org/C...
info on the twilight sail: http://www.dswc.org/W...

I will book my place, to guarantee a place on the water. Need to get there by 6.30pm, meet person called Sandra who will allocate crews, and get changed.
My mobile - 07 985 071 940. Suggest we meet there, as I may struggle to be at a tube at 6pm, as I'm travelling from work which is quite far out.

Things to bring:
NOT wetsuits (apparently); Shorts and t-shirt are the dress-code (I'd wear swimmers underneath, just in case)
Trainers with non-marking soles or sailing shoes
Sailing gloves, if you've got any
Bottle of water
Towel
Change of clothes (because you never know if you're going to fall in ;-))
Sunscreen
Sunglasses (on a string, just in case)
Hat
Small change for locker (20pence non-returnable)
waterproof and windproof jacket, if it rains

See you on the water!
