Information

To tie into the race event on 27th February, I've also arranged for a weekend of race training. This event will takes place two weeks prior to the race during the weekend 12th and 14th February. Also based in the Solent, it will be led by an experienced race skipper and RYA instructor who has competed in some of the worlds most prestigious Yacht races including the notoriously difficult FastNet. He is also entering a team for the Sydney Hobart 2010 and I believe has a couple of berths still available!

There are only seven places available which to be fair as possible are offered to those initially who responded and paid for the race event first. It's is envisaged that the guys who go on this event will be experiences at working together as a team and therefore will form the crew for one of the boats in the actual regatta.

The event, which costs £45 for the weekend, includes yacht and instructor plus breakfast and lunch on board for the Saturday and Sunday. Wet weather gear is also available to hire if needed at the cost of £10 for the weekend.
